AVASK Global Compliance is a rapidly expanding firm that specialises in international VAT, tax, and accounting for e-commerce businesses located internationally and in Italy.AVASK is recommended as External Tax Advisors under the Amazon Global Selling Programme and assists hundreds of Amazon FBA sellers, eBay, Shopify, and other platforms. It provides clients with comprehensive expertise, including practical guidance on cross-border transactions, ensuring full compliance, and advising on group structures and tax services. AVASK is now looking to recruit a Senior Indirect Tax Consultant to support our Madrid-based office.Senior Indirect Tax Consultant, the role :Draft articles on industry / tax updates for approval by the VAT Technical Manager.Research industry / tax news and update the VAT Technical Manager on an ad-hoc basis.Assist the VAT Technical Manager with testing features relevant to company software projects (e.g., Infiniti) on an ad-hoc basis.Help prepare and create processes relevant to the VAT Compliance department.Conduct end-to-end audits of client accounts monthly, including :Manual calculation and data segregation to ensure Infiniti calculations are accurate.Full audit of VAT returns filed by partners to verify accuracy and compliance with Infiniti data.Inspect client portals to confirm figures match Infiniti data and filings.Review Infiniti, CRM, and Shared Folder details to ensure previous audits were correct.Senior Indirect Tax Consultant, the person :Has experience in VAT, Accountancy, or Finance departments.Holds a relevant VAT diploma, ATT, CTA, Law Degree, or equivalent qualification.Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.Is organized, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.Works well independently and in small teams.Demonstrates strong multi-tasking and attention to detail.Has excellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.Possesses analytical skills and willingness to engage at a detailed level.Leverages technology to improve processes and productivity.Capable of developing new skills and understanding new technologies.Has experience or knowledge of international e-commerce.Please view our Privacy Notice here :J-18808-Ljbffr#J-18808-Ljbffr
