We are passionate about what we do and work exemplarily through collaboration and respect in a cross‑cultural environment.About the roleAs a PR & Communications Expert, you will define, coordinate, and execute external communication initiatives for Bahia Principe, ensuring a coherent narrative that aligns with the brand’s positioning and remains consistent across all markets, channels, and audiences (customers, sales channels, trade, and consumer media). Acting as a technical reference in communication and PR, you will transform brand and business objectives into effective communication plans tailored to each audience, market, and context. Key responsibilities include crafting impactful messages, managing communication crises, and overseeing content across multiple channels.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and manage the content calendar, aligning with internal teams and external partners.Define communication territories, key messages, and strategic materials (press kits, Q&A, bios).Align communication strategies with organizational goals.Coordinate interviews, public appearances, and awards for company spokespersons.Create and distribute press releases and key messages for events and milestones.Plan and coordinate corporate events, press conferences, launches, and public activities.Safeguard the company’s reputation by managing communication in sensitive situations and applying crisis protocols.Select and oversee external PR agencies to ensure positive media coverage.Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure alignment with brand positioning and communication guidelines.Monitor and report on KPIs, impact, and ROI of communication actions, proposing strategic adjustments.QualificationsUniversity degree in Communication Sciences, Journalism, Public Relations, or similar.Minimum 5 years of experience in PR and Communications, preferably in tourism or hospitality.Strong knowledge of corporate communication, brand storytelling, media relations, and crisis management.Proficiency in office tools and PR management systems.Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.Our purpose is to be a global benchmark that inspires, transforming every interaction into an opportunity to create unique and memorable experiences; that awakens, promoting an awareness of respect for the environment and the communities we work with; and that transcends, leaving a positive footprint on destinations—a legacy for future generations.
