Our mission is to leverage SAP’s advanced functionalities to support strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and deliver superior services to our clients.We are currently looking for aSenior SAP Project Manager (m/f/d)Málaga (hybrid), permanent or freelance, full-timeRole Summary:Lead end-to-end SAP initiatives (S/4HANA and related SAP platforms) using SAP Activate and Agile delivery. You’ll own planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management, running delivery via Jira (epics, stories, boards, metrics) and ensuring value-driven outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Plan & Mobilize: Define scope, delivery model, resourcing, RACI, governance cadence, and integrated project plan aligned to SAP Activate (Discover → Prepare → Explore → Realize → Deploy → Run)Backlog & Delivery: Build and maintain epics/features/stories; refine with functional/technical leads; manage sprint goals, velocity, burn-down/up, and release plansJira Ownership: Configure boards/workflows, define DoR/DoD, manage dashboards, reports (cycle/lead time), and enforce issue hygieneSchedule & Budget Control: Track progress vs. baseline; manage variances; provide weekly status, RAID/RAIDD logs, and executive readoutsRisk & Quality Management: Drive issue resolution, change control, cutover readiness, and test/defect triage; ensure compliance with Activate quality gatesStakeholder Management: Facilitate ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retros), run steering committees, align business & IT, manage partners/vendorsCutover & Go-Live: Lead cutover planning, dress rehearsals, hypercare, and handover to operations/supportCompliance & Security: Coordinate roles/authorizations, SoD input to GRC teams, and audit-ready documentationContinuous Improvement: Leverage delivery metrics to improve predictability and throughputRequired Qualifications:5+ years project management experience, with 3+ years leading SAP projects using SAP ActivateProven Agile delivery using Jira (project setup, workflows, schemes, automation, dashboards, reporting)Track record delivering SAP workstreams (preferably S/4HANA) from Explore to Deploy/Run.Strong command of project financials (budgeting, forecasting, EAC), planning (MS Project/Smartsheet), and RAID/change controlExcellent communication and stakeholder management across business, IT, and system integratorsWorking knowledge of SAP landscapes (DEV/QAS/PRD), transports, testing cycles, and cutover.Fluency in English; additional EU language(s) a plusNice to Have:Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite/CPI, SAP Signavio, SAP ALM/Cloud ALM, or GRC coordinationCertifications: PMI-ACP, Scrum Master (PSM/CSM), PMI-PMP/PRINCE2, SAP Activate Project ManagerExperience with RISE with SAP and hybrid/multi-vendor deliveryFamiliarity with DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Git), test tools (Jira Xray, Tricentis)Core Skills:SAP Activate governance & quality gatesAgile/Jira delivery management & metricsPlanning & estimation (story points, capacity, critical path)Risk/issue management & escalationCutover/hypercare coordinationExecutive reporting & stakeholder alignmentStrong facilitation and negotiationEducation:Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experienceWhat´s in it for you:A strategic position in key SAP projects for a major international clientAn international, growth-oriented environment with innovative projects and industry-specific challengesDiverse development opportunities, creative freedom, and involvement in modern SAP landscapesFlexible working hours and a remote-friendly setup with occasional travelA family-like company culture with flat hierarchies, quick decision-making, and a culture of trust, expertise, humor, and enjoymentCollaboration in a diverse international team and comprehensive onboarding to ensure a smooth startInterested?
