You will lead the legal stream for our M&A transactions across Europe together with the SaaS General Counsel, working closely with colleagues in M&A, PMI, tax, finance, and a Junior Legal M&A Counsel whom you will mentor.Key Responsibilities Lead the legal stream for the group’s M&A transactions (share and asset deals) end-to-endDraft and negotiate transactional contracts (SPAs, SHAs, APAs, management agreements, earnout agreements, …)Coordinate legal due diligence processesDrive process optimisations together with the M&A, tax, and finance teamsManage and coordinate internal and external legal advice on transactional mattersRequirements Education & Professional BackgroundLaw degree from a recognised institutionMinimum 5+ years of M&A legal experienceQualified lawyerTechnical SkillsSolid background in M&A and experience with leading legal M&A processesSelf‑driven, proactive, and collaborative working styleAnalytical and pragmatic mindsetStrong organisational and prioritisation skillsAmbition to take full responsibility for all transactional matters within the groupLanguage Requirements Fluent in English (working language) + at least one other European languageCore Competencies Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teamsCommercial mindset with understanding of business operationsProactive approach to problem‑solving and risk managementExcellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational capabilitiesWhat We Offer An international, fast‑growing, and financially strong group with HQ in Ghent, BelgiumDirect reporting line to the SaaS General Counsel, who provides trust and autonomy, with a strong focus on resultsBeing part of a close‑knit legal team with both regional and group responsibilitiesExciting transactional work across Europe A dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, including exposure to start‑ups and scale‑upsGreat flexibility and a strong company culture built on values An attractive compensation package in line with your experienceAt team.blue, our commitment to caring for the environment and each other is at the heart of everything we do.
