Financial Controller

Job Description Provide support for the financial information and associated systems through the Eurofins Agroscience Services Group with the aim of contributing directly to the achievement of the business’s agreed strategic and financial objectives. Main focus will be for the division Field&Seeds. Ensuring the correctness of the financial accounting figures in alignment with the Division Leader, National Service Centers and Business Unit Managers. Key Working Areas Measuring business performance, decision support for Sub-RBL Leader and provide recommendation for actions Support local field finance controllers Support Forecast & Financial Budget process Support NWC & dunning management Cost monitoring Supervise monthly allocation of costs to team/business unit budgets, utilising agreed systems and methods. Prepare periodic summaries and status reports for management discussion. Financial accounting Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements and accompany month/year-end closing processes Ensure and contribute to the correctness of whole financial data of Sub-RBL legal entity scope in line with local finance controllers or external service providers Assess monthly/quarterly accounting statements (balance sheets and income statements) Monitor/report and clean up accounting discrepancies in alignment with National Service Center Observe that business and business managers follows all required legislations Liaise with internal & external auditors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Work experience as a Financial Accountant/Financial Controller or similar role Proven experience of business bookkeeping procedures referring to IFRS standards.
