Quality Control Technician (Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona)Ventós is a distributor of aroma chemicals and essential oils for flavors and fragrances industries all over the world. We have established commercial agreements with important producers of raw materials, which give Ventós a leading position as agents or distributors of their products.We are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.Responsibilities:Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicalsCarry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standarsConduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instrumentsParticipate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatographyCollaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliancePrepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality controlSupport the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA departmentProfile:Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality controlSupport the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA departmentDegree in Chemistry or related scientific fieldDesirable: Master’s degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass SpectrometryExpertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong assetFamiliarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valuedSolid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistryExperience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method developmentHigh level of English is a mustAttention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to work independentlyTeam spirit, flexibility and proactive attitudeAdditional Information:We offer a benefits package which includes:Free language classes and access to other training coursesHealth insuranceSubsidized meals and breakfast serviceCorporate paddle tennis court for employees and their familiesWould you like to join our team?
