Overview The VHIR Communication Unit is part of the Communication, Corporate Strategy, and Citizen Assistance Department of the Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus. Its main objective is to raise awareness of the research carried out at Vall d’Hebron across all areas and in all its forms. It communicates scientific achievements to the public via website, social media, press releases, interviews, videos, campaigns, and internal communications to staff. It audits and presents the scientific output annually and strengthens international ties and public outreach events. Responsibilities Support implementation of internal communication plan. Support design and implementation of HRS4R communication plan. Coordinate and produce internal newsletters. Write scientific news content for website in Catalan, Spanish, and English. Support press conferences and institutional events. Support social media management. Take and edit photographs. Record and edit video content. Maintain and update website and intranet. Support preparation of Annual Report. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related Communication field. Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (business proficiency). Experience performing tasks as a Communications Technician. Experience managing social media channels. Desired Knowledge of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). Familiarity with mailing platforms such as GetResponse and Mailchimp. Experience using Infogram. Labour conditions Full‑time position: 37.5 h/week. Starting date: immediate.
