Novelus employees enjoy a comprehensive set of benefits, including but not limited to:Friendly and collaborative work environmentPersonal and professional growth opportunitiesExposure to dynamic projects and the latest technologiesWhat You’ll DoBuild and maintain data ingestion processes from multiple sources into the Data Lake.Design, develop, and optimize complex data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow.Build, develop, and maintain frameworks that facilitate the construction of data pipelines.Implement end-to-end testing frameworks for data pipelines.Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to ensure delivery of high-quality data.Ensure robust data governance, security, and compliance practices.Explore and implement emerging technologies to improve data pipeline performance.Utilize and integrate data from varied source systems, including Kafka, MQ, SFTP, databases, APIs, and file shares.What You’ll Need3+ years of experience in data engineeringStrong database expertise: advanced SQL and PL/SQLStrong knowledge of data handling principles: ETL and real-time data processingSolid understanding of the Cloudera Hadoop stack, including Apache Spark and Apache KafkaAbility to integrate data from multiple source types (Kafka, MQ, SFTP, databases, APIs, file shares)Cloud platforms experience (preferably GCP)Experience with Linux and Bash scriptingExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsStrong understanding of data governance principles (metadata management, data quality frameworks)Good understanding of telco systems and dataFluent English (excellent verbal and written communication skills)Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.ScalaCeph, MinIODataRobot, GrafanaSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeIndustryTelecommunicationsCologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany#J-18808-Ljbffr
