Responsibilities: Lead AI/ML Projects: Manage and deliver medium/large-scale AI/ML projects, from planning to execution, ensuring deliverables meet business needs. Provide Data Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on internal data resources, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, project managers, and business teams to define requirements and implement solutions. Drive Process Improvement: Develop standardized protocols for data extraction, management, and quality assurance. Provide Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, guiding their development and ensuring high-quality output. Provide Strategic Input: Contribute to the development of data management standards, prototypes, and reporting models to drive organizational goals. Deliver Presentations & Communication: Prepare compelling presentations to share insights with management and key stakeholders. Keep Abreast of Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and developments in healthcare and logistics. Work Experience Proficiency in Python, AI/ML Frameworks, relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) Experience with Databricks, Power Automate and Alteryx is considered a plus Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring team members and leading projects Work Environment Intellectual curiosity and a self‑starter mindset Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams Leadership skills Project management skills Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Excellent judgment and decision‑making skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Willing to work extended hours as required Consulting skills Presentation skills Education Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development roles including deploying solutions in a production environment Minimum of 2+ years of experience in leading small teams of data scientists Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics Requires training in fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Compute r science generally obtained through completion of a three/ four-year bachelor’s degree program R equires a minimum of four years direct progressively responsible exp erience in a data science field, ideally in a relevant sector – ideally logistics Skills and Knowledge Building Quantitative /Machine learning models to help achieve team goals. These will likely differ from case to case .
