Billing Analyst

What You'll Do:- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any issues with clients or internal departments.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and update accounting systems.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing and revenue.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing processes and implement best practices.
- Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Manage internal/external client requests related to invoicing.
- You have a background in accounting.
- Proven experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in billing software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using billing software and accounting systems.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing invoices and financial records for accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving billing issues and discrepancies efficiently.
- Time Management: Effective in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Works well with others to achieve common goals and improve processes.
