R&D Leader – Personal Care Active IngredientsAt ISPROX, a consultancy specialized in talent acquisition and headhunting, we are supporting our client—a multinational company in the chemical sector, recognized for its innovation in the manufacture and commercialization of industrial and cosmetic specialties— in the search for an R&D Leader for their Personal Care Active Ingredients division .Mission of the position: To lead research and development tasks and functions related to new products, techniques, and laboratory projects, ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.Key responsibilitiesActively participate in new R&D developments.Plan, monitor, and partly carry out project-related lab work.Conduct bibliographic research in articles, journals, patents, and other relevant sources.Develop and optimize synthesis routes and product formulations.Support the scale-up phase of new products or synthesis processes to production.Develop analytical methods related to new projects.Prepare technical laboratory reports and presentations.RequirementsDegree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry.Master’s degree or PhD in Organic Chemistry, or demonstrable equivalent experience.Proven experience in R&D within the cosmetic industry (laboratory, research, and synthesis design).Knowledge of chemical structures and functionality of preservatives and/or multifunctional cosmetic ingredients.Knowledge of green or natural chemistry will be an advantage.Skills: self-motivated, decisive, organized, with leadership and communication abilities, and capable of working independently while adapting to change and competing priorities.We offerPermanent full-time position (Monday to Friday).Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.Attractive and competitive salary package.Social benefits including free canteen, pension plan, life insurance, flexible remuneration, and a range of wellness initiatives (sports activities, physiotherapy, fresh fruit, and more).A collaborative environment with values based on innovation, commitment, credibility, and cooperation.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearchIndustriesChemical Manufacturing and Chemical Raw Materials Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
