Working here means joining a team that contributes directly to innovative technologies and a more sustainable future, making it an exciting and meaningful place to grow your career.Purpose of the functionThe ideal candidate will own the entire production process to guarantee the demand of our clients, accomplishing the deadlines and specifications.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the production department at Gurit Falces.Manage optimally the necessary resources in production.Achieve production targets in terms of volumes, delivery to customers on time, efficiency, waste and quality.Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of methodologies and work processes, yielding results for:Safety ImprovementReduction of Production Variance/ScrapQuality Improvement (internal and external)Improvement of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of machines and processesCalculation and optimization of production capacities.Implement and develop the Gurit Safety culture in the shopfloor.Responsible for the weekly scheduling production plan.Ensure that all personnel under his/her supervision have the necessary training to perform their job duties.Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholdersProven experience in production management/supervision, within manufacturing environment.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet or exceed deadlines and objectives.Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.Fluent in English and Spanish.Experience : 10+ years of production management experience.An Inspirational Personality: Integrity and Trust, Teamwork, Conflict Management, Persistence & Self-Assertiveness, DelegationShaping the Business Successfully: Results Orientation, Customer FocusAn Expert in Communication: Sharing information, Convincing othersDriving Work Processes Effectively: Analytical, Continuous Improvement, Creative Problem Solving, Reducing Complexity, Works well under pressure.Able to review, support and develop an organization and to act as a mentor.Self-confidence with ability to advocate an independent point of view.Maturity to build and sustain effective working relationships at all levels.Team player who involves, delegate and shows appreciation .Integrity & Accountability, high ethical standards and commitment to transparency.Why This Role is a Good OpportunityAt Gurit, you'll be part of a collaborative international team where your skills and expertise will be valued.
