Senior Director, Medical Strategy Lead – Dermatology Join IQVIA’s Dermatology Center of Excellence as a senior clinical and scientific leader. As Medical Strategy Lead, you will expand our Dermatology portfolio, develop data‑driven, patient‑centered solutions, and drive business growth with scientific expertise.Key Responsibilities Develop innovative, evidence‑based delivery strategies for Dermatology trials or studies, addressing customer needs.Partner with Indication‑Specific Medical Strategy, Operations, Sales and other functions to secure strategic and tactical new business, ensuring inclusion of dermatology elements in proposals.Provide scientific, clinical and operational advice to internal stakeholders: protocol design, data mining, feasibility, site and investigator selection, recruitment, standard of care and competitive landscape.Support preparation of customer and bid defense meetings, train project teams, and present at customer and partnership meetings.Participate in strategic business development activities including presentations to prospective clients and professional meetings.Maintain awareness of industry pipeline, scientific and business landscape; support due diligence on metabolic landscape.Requirements Board Certified Dermatologist with a medical degree from an accredited, internationally recognized school.Five or more years of clinical research experience in a CRO or pharma.Robust current knowledge of the dermatology scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial and competitive landscape.Strong consultation and communication skills, initiative and flexibility.In‑depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH, etc.) and ability to apply them.Ability to understand customer needs, negotiate solutions and communicate impacts.Commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered clinical development.Professional Skills Excellent written and oral communication; fluent in English.Leadership experience, work independently and lead virtual teams in matrix organizations.Strategic, innovative thinker with business acumen and negotiation skills.Adaptable in ambiguous situations; willing to support multiple therapeutic areas.Tech‑savvy, proficient with databases, applications and online research tools.Ability to make informed decisions with limited data and clarify complex information.Interpersonal Skills Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, managers and clients; positive and receptive to feedback.Effective mentor and trainer; promotes learning and knowledge sharing.How to applyIQVIA is an equal opportunity employer.
