Senior Medical Strategy Lead, DermatologyThe IQVIA Dermatology Center of Excellence, a hub of dermatology clinical innovation, is seeking an exceptional Board‑Certified physician to join our team as a Medical Strategy Lead. This role will help expand our dermatology portfolio and advance this dynamic, rapidly expanding area of clinical development.The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert with extensive experience in clinical research and trials, and will champion dermatology trials across IQVIA. The remit is to drive portfolio growth through scientific and clinical expertise, using IQVIA data and trial resources to develop innovative, data‑driven, patient‑centered solutions for dermatology trials.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for creating innovative, evidence‑based, patient‑centered delivery strategies and solutions for dermatology trials or studies, addressing specific customer needs and challenges.Collaborate with Indication‑Specific Medical Strategy, Operations, Sales and other functions to secure new business and meet annual Gross New Business targets, including integration of dermatology trial elements into proposals.Provide scientific, clinical and operational advice to internal stakeholders, including protocol design, data mining, regulatory and feasibility review, site and investigator selection, patient recruitment estimates, standard of care and competitive landscape.Support preparation of customer and bid defense meetings, train project teams, provide content, and ensure presentations effectively convey strategy.Attend and present at customer meetings, bid defenses and partnership meetings as required.Participate in strategic business development activities, including presentations to prospective clients and professional meetings.Maintain awareness of industry pipeline and scientific and business landscape; support due diligence research of the metabolic landscape.RequirementsBoard‑Certified Dermatology physician, medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized school.5+ years of clinical research experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.Robust, current knowledge of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial and competitive landscape in dermatology.Excellent consulting skills, initiative and flexibility across multiple assignments.In‑depth knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH) guidelines.Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, engage in difficult conversations, negotiate solutions and assess impacts on the overall offering.Strong clinical research skills and commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered clinical development.Professional SkillsExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English.Strong leadership; able to work independently and lead virtual teams in matrixed organizations.Strategic, innovative thinker with solid business acumen and negotiation skills; comfortable in sales and operations.Flexible in ambiguous situations; willing to support multiple therapeutic areas.Tech‑savvy; proficient in using databases, applications and online tools for research and decision‑making.Skilled at making informed decisions with limited data and clarifying complex information to drive results.Interpersonal SkillsBuilds and maintains strong relationships with colleagues, managers and clients; positive and receptive to feedback.Effective mentor and trainer; promotes learning and knowledge sharing.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionHealth Care Provider#J-18808-Ljbffr
