We are searching for highly motivated engineers with excellent background in calibration and a good level of English and Spanish to work in our team in Valladolid.ResponsibilitiesPilot the calibration development towards the industrialization or serial‑life phasesSummarize the status from Software Development, Calibration team and ValidationPerform calibration for HEVC (Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle Controller), HECM (Engine Main Control Unit) or High Voltage components (BMS + Inverter)Manage calibration documentation and macro‑planning of activitiesEnsure timing, quality gates preparation, reporting to project management and quality, and support production plantsConstruct and achieve the business Quality Cost Delay Performance commitment, in accordance with regulations and business rulesQualificationsGood level of English; French is a plusEngineering degree or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plusMore than 5 years of experience in automotive industry topics (calibration, validation, software development) desirableKnowledge of powertrain and engine development – hybrid preferredKnowledge of high‑voltage parts such as BMS (Battery) and Inverter (Electric Motor) is a plusProject Management experience (timing, quality, deliverables, reporting) preferredTeam management experienceHigh sense of responsibility, goal‑oriented and strong social skillsExtra‑curricular activities such as Formula Student are a plusDriving license requiredBenefitsGood quality and proactive work environmentProfessional progression inside the team and companyCompetitive salary compared with other companies in the Spanish automotive sectorValuable know‑how in the automotive sectorAbout AVL IbericaAVL Iberica is responsible for the Spanish, Mexican and Portuguese markets.
