Job Description Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity. We are currently recruiting a Senior Engineer with experience in bridges and/or structures design to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout USA, Australia, Canada or Middle East. Here is what you will do: Serve as a bridge (rail/road) or structures lead engineer on mid-size projects supported by EC. Make day‐to‐day decisions for a technical team, integrating resources from different EC offices (Spain, Poland, India, etc.). Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts and conduct medium‐complex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, construction techniques. Allocate packages of work for EC, elaborate project execution plans and, in combination with internal clients, define the delivery strategy, including composition of design teams. Perform quality‐control reviews of work developed by others. Approve and sign off on work.
