You will help the Enterprise Architect in developing a cloud and AI strategy as well as having a proper well‑documented governance model to support and ensure that we as group IT have the needed tools to provide support and guidance to the business.Your Primary Tasks Will BeCloud architecture design: You will be responsible for designing the architecture of cloud‑based solutions and selecting the appropriate cloud platforms and services to meet the organization's requirements. This involves considering scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.Work with the Enterprise Architect to enhance STG's venture into the artificial intelligence world, including machine learning models, natural language processing algorithms, computer vision systems, and other AI technologies. You will assess the feasibility and applicability of AI solutions to meet business objectives.Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of cloud‑based and AI systems, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, financially viable and secure. This may involve leading troubleshooting issues, fine‑tuning algorithms, and optimizing resource utilization.Security and compliance: You will ensure that cloud‑based and AI systems adhere to security best practices and relevant compliance standards, including implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures.Research and innovation: You will stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and AI technologies. You will explore innovative solutions, conduct research experiments, and recommend new tools or technologies to improve system performance and capabilities.Document architecture, design decisions, and implementation details of cloud‑based and AI systems.
