Leading the way, you’ll bring our team together to build and maintain technologies used to ignite millions of screens worldwide with FireTV experience.Key job responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate has current and extensive experience developing and building Android systems and applications. The candidate understands what the limitations of the platform are and can design and implement additional services or help optimize existing ones to meet the product requirements.Has in-depth expertise working with Android systemIndependently lead complex technical initiatives within your teamGood understanding of Multimedia domain and associated technologiesProficiency in Java, Kotlin.Mentor and lead developers by cultivating curiosity and deep technical understandingExplore technical needs and bring solutions to the tableWork with other lead engineers to develop a unified technical strategy for AndroidA day in the lifeIn a typical day, you work closely with FireTV developers, SoC vendors, ODMs, Hardware team, and technical program managers to create new features, optimizing related issues, and deliver customer loving high quality smart TV products on time.About the teamSmart TV Solution Engineering team is responsible for the delivery of integrated smartTV experiences at planet scale for our partner branded SmartTV business.Basic QualificationsExperience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructureExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, RustExperience with Linux/UnixExperience with CI/CD pipelines build processesPreferred QualificationsExperience with distributed systems at scaleOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
