As a BIE in this role, you will be a key contributor to enhancing the inbound efficiency and accurate predictions of our supply chain sourcing inbound operations through business intelligence. Our current focus is on improving overall visibility that Amazon has into incoming inbound freight through improving signal quality as well as signal aggregation. This allows us to orchestrate inbound freight through the supply chain, and improve overall inbound lead times. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights that optimize inbound signals, scheduling, and overall supply chain performance.Key job responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to support sourcing analyticsCreate and optimize SQL queries for large-scale data analysisBuild interactive dashboards and visualizationsPartner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsImplement data quality controls and monitoring systemsDevelop automated reporting solutions and self-service analytics capabilitiesCollaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data architecture and performanceAbout the teamThe Optimal Sourcing Systems (OSS) team at Amazon is at the forefront of revolutionizing global supply chain management.
