Celonis is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our Product & Engineering team. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that facilitates users finding the information they need when they need it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, revise, and publish world-class documentation that meets the needs of our users.
  • Build relationships with product and engineering teams and actively participate in Agile teams.
  • Develop expertise in your product area(s) and become a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering on writing best practices and consistent use of taxonomy.
  • Write, edit, and review product UI components, in-app text strings, and error messages.
  • Suggest improvements and drive consistency.
  • Partner with Celonis Academy, Customer Support, and Community teams to create the best self-service experience for customers.
  • Improve documentation through feedback analysis, support tickets, and interviews.
  • Take on additional improvement projects to improve overall documentation quality.

Requirements:

  • Self-starter who can take the initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working independently to gather information from software developers and product management about new features.
  • Prior experience documenting SaaS, client-server, on-premise, and cloud software applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile development environments and experience working with APIs, programming languages, and Web technologies.
  • Excellent content planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to act as an information designer, project manager, writer, editor, and publisher.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
