Job Opportunity: Italian Video Game Translator

Localsoft, S.L. is a leading localization company offering translation, testing, and audio services. We are currently seeking an experienced English to Italian video game translator to join our team in Málaga, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Localize video games from English to Italian with high accuracy and quality
  • Work collaboratively with our team to meet project deadlines and standards
  • Participate in temporary in-house AAA game translation projects
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met at all times

Requirements:

  • University degree in Translation or a related field
  • 2+ years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry or 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent native language skills and full working proficiency in English
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic, and deadline-driven office environment
  • Capacity to localize a minimum of 2000 words per day with high quality standards and respecting deadlines
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, proactive, and positive attitude
  • IT literacy: Microsoft Office suite and CAT tool
