DevOps Engineer for Threat Intelligence Platforms

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Threat Intelligence team at Siemens, S. A. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Threat Intelligence platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure Threat Intelligence platforms using Python, web frameworks, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to develop and automate threat intelligence-related processes.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our internal applications and processes, and develop new features and integrate them into our applications.
  • Increase automation in our environment and improve our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operate and troubleshoot our applications on-premises and in the cloud.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Security Engineering, Software development, or DevOps Engineering.
  • Significant experience with software development using Python, web frameworks, JavaScript, Vue, REST APIs, and Open API.
  • Significant experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms like MISP, and Cyber Threat Intelligence feeds like STIX, and TAXII.
  • Advanced technical system expertise with Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Gitlab CI, Elastic Search, and Configuration Management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical systems with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to present and explain complex technical topics to both management and technical experts.
  • Ability to work in a self-guided and result-oriented fashion with the clear desire to become an acknowledged technical expert in your own area of expertise.
  • Advanced communication skills: clear and concise communication; able to address stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and technical expertise.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
