Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the company's growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Report directly to the Director of Finance and drive budget and forecast procedures to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and drive growth.
- Work closely with local accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Ensure compliance with tax legal and statutory requirements and participate in the audit process.
- Create internal policies and apply controlling procedures to support financial management.
- Support cash flow management and participate in various finance projects, such as system selection and implementation.
- Perform market research, data mining, and business intelligence to support business growth.
- University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Post Graduate studies in Finance, Accounting, or a Professional Qualification in Finance or Accounting (e.g. ACCA, ACA).
- Excellent command of Spanish and English language.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and management accounting principles.
- 5+ years of overall finance experience, preferably in Fintech, Financial Services, IT, or Betting industry.
- User experience with ERP and Accounting Software.
- Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Good business acumen and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication ability and ability to travel occasionally.
