Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our HR Services Hub. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and processing payroll transactions for assigned locations and Nutreco entities.
About the Role:- Understand and apply payroll and benefit policies, principles, legislation, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Verify payroll reports for accuracy and completeness before distribution.
- Prepare manual payroll cheques and update the payroll system for accuracy.
- Liaise with payroll providers to handle system issues and required programming and updates.
- Conduct research to provide accurate information and guidance on payroll-related matters.
- Prepare remittances and reconcile payroll deductions.
- Align with global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on executing payroll processes.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, HR, or a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll.
- Proven experience working on continuous improvement projects and project management.
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and French.
- A full-time position in an international, dynamic environment.
