Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master

Our client, a leading company in the finance industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master to join their Project Management Office in Marbella, Spain. This role will focus on delivering web-based financial products that align with their business vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple small-to-medium scale projects through their entire lifecycle, from initiation to deployment.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with product owners and development teams to define the minimal viable product, refine the product backlog, and ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.
  • Risk management, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative environment to promote innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with a thorough understanding of software development processes.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and resource management software.
  • Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on key objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural teams, comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • European Union legal working status is required.
