HSE Specialist

Job Summary:

Hatch is seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to the project management team in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the superuser of Hatch's health and safety management system.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets for safety statistics, audits, and inspections.
• Keep records of isolations and padlocks.
• Manage the vehicle register on site.
• Manage incident reports and investigations, including tracking actions and closures.
• Assign project incident numbers and ensure initial notifications are distributed correctly.
• Produce incident reports and maintain a distribution record.
• Verify construction workforce hours and report/publish weekly and monthly internal and external statistics.
• Assist with preparing and presenting training materials.
• Prepare informative materials and present site inductions.
• Take minutes and records of the daily and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage and maintain safety information and training systems.
• Perform other general office tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Five years of experience as an administrator in the field of safety, construction, or engineering.
• Understanding of the challenges of working in a remote location.
• High level of computer skills.
• High level of organizational skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
