Leading Technical Expert

This role offers the opportunity to drive technical strategy and expertise in cloud/HPC solutions deployment area. The successful candidate will engage with various customers, develop and execute technical plans, and provide guidance on best practices for containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD integration.
The Lead Application Engineer will lead multidisciplinary teams to develop end-to-end simulation solutions, expand application areas, and enhance industry knowledge. They will interact with customers to understand business initiatives, product development needs, and design workflows, and communicate the value proposition to senior management.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT infrastructure and development, shaping the success of deploying technology in real-world environments across industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide proactive leadership in planning, coordination, and execution of technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Interact with customers to understand key business initiatives, product development needs, and design workflows.
- Lead project teams to develop differentiated but reusable simulation solutions using Ansys platform and products, deploying these solutions in customers' design workflows.
- Deliver professional services, providing customer consulting.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing deployment architectures using Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an engineering software environment.
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects.
- Proven experience in leading application deployments in production environments.
