Your Role at Alstom
We're seeking a highly skilled Installation Manager to join our team in Barcelona. This is a full-time opportunity to take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a cutting-edge field.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all installation activities for the project, ensuring compliance with our strategy, policies, standards, local regulations, and professional standards.
- Manage internal interfaces within the project, including projects engineering, industrial, supply chain, test and commissioning, sourcing, and external technical interfaces: partners, third parties, and customers.
- Organise the installation work and manage installation work packages (QCD).
- Deliver engineering studies (bill of installation materials / quantities, method statements, installation materials specification requirements, installation drawings, and configuration).
- Assist procurement, focusing on installation suppliers.
- Prepare and manage installation, including installation work, work permits, interfaces with warehouses, and installation suppliers and subcontractors/installers.
- Evaluate EHS performance on-site, with guidance and support from the project team member in charge of project EHS coordination. Ensure adherence to Alstom's zero deviation policy and ensure installers or subcontractors follow Alstom's EHS policies.
- Monitor and manage QCD performances, including EHS and RSA – railway safety, reporting and anticipating issues, and monitoring milestone progress dashboards with regular project KPI reports.
- Assess monthly subcontractor performance and generate/acquire an action plan progress report, review, and progress from the subcontractor.
- Deploy and ensure the SIG and SECURITY installation process is applied as per the tailoring rules agreed with the RC IM.
