Medical Scientific Liaison

Lilly is a global healthcare leader seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will play a critical role in providing scientific expertise and support to our customers, while also contributing to the development of our medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Expertise: Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge of disease states, products, and investigational compounds.
- Customer Engagement: Excel at customer engagement and support medical/scientific information needs of scientific experts, providing deep and advanced disease state and product information.
- Collaboration: Connect with internal partners as appropriate and identify possible collaborative research or external collaborations.
- Data Synthesis: Synthesize complex data and effectively communicate meaningful clinical insights and unanswered customer questions.
- Network Development: Develop internal networks and collaborate effectively across functions with an active contribution to medical planning and strategy in the affiliate.
- Compliance: Execute the role in a compliant manner, adhering to all internal and external requirements, procedures.
- Territory Planning: Implement a strategic territory plan that is aligned to Lilly's priorities while leveraging a deep knowledge of customers to prioritize their needs and preferences.
- Customer Focus: Prioritize customer-facing time and align with customer expectations, incorporating Lilly's strategic vision and evolving customer needs into future plans.
- Problem-Solving: Deliver thoroughly optimized solutions to complex problems via methodical root cause analysis.
- Education: Master or Bachelor level degree in health sciences and PhD level degree ideally in Diabetes and/or Obesity.
- Experience: At least 1 year of medical affairs or MSL experience.
- Language: Excellent English (C1/Advance).
- Location: Residence in Alicante or Murcia.
- Travel: Willing to travel up to 80% of time.
- Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Diabetes and Obesity Expertise: Knowledge/Experience in Diabetes and/or Obesity will be valued.
- Scientific Content: Highly motivated and capable of comprehending large amounts of scientific content, which is then communicated clearly.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including capability to engage in professional relationship building and networking.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in self-managing priorities and multi-tasking projects.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively and share information within a team environment.
