About the Role

Spark Power Corp is seeking a highly skilled Solar/BESS Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain solar and battery energy storage systems, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair issues with solar and battery energy storage systems, using electrical testing equipment and technical knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on installed systems, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the installation and maintenance of their solar and battery energy storage systems.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical technology an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical installation and maintenance.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Electrical license an asset; valid driver's license with a suitable driving record.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of solar and battery energy storage systems; ability to lift 75lbs; positive attitude and strong work ethic.
