Job Title: Associate Procurement Manager - Logistics

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Associate Procurement Manager - Logistics to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering business results, implementing global strategies, and ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing total cost of ownership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy strategies to optimize the total delivery cost across identified Logistics categories.
  • Engage with key business stakeholders to maintain alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with Logistics Operations teams to drive portfolio optimization and consolidation.
  • Negotiate service terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Develop, revise, and discuss commercial contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure security of supply by driving alternative solutions and contingency plans.
  • Uphold supplier service level commitments.
  • Deliver savings by identifying and driving cost savings projects and initiatives.
  • Provide accurate cost forecasts and understand key market trends.
  • Link knowledge of current market trends with supplier portfolios to identify opportunities for marketplace advantages.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain supplier relationships to create value for the organization.
  • Represent procurement on cross-functional project teams.
Requirements:
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply the TDC sourcing process.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Relevant experience/knowledge with Warehousing operations and contracts.
  • Experience working within multi-cultural teams.
  • Higher education in Business and/or Logistics or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Successful experience negotiating with large multinational suppliers.
  • Ability to adjust to changing variables in the workplace.
  • Maintain composure and deliver results under pressure.
  • Generate innovative ideas and original solutions.
  • Operate proactively, anticipating possible problems, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to distil, synthesize, and draw conclusions from large data sets.
  • Experience with relevant IT systems (SAP, GEP, Power BI, etc.).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
