Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our engineering and housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of hotel equipment and systems.

• Collaborate with the engineering and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Manage and control heat, light, and power systems to ensure efficient energy usage and minimize waste.

• Participate in on-going communication with the engineering and housekeeping leadership teams to ensure effective collaboration and goal achievement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing preferred.

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related field; no experience in engineering and maintenance or related field; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing preferred.
