Operational Environment Intern

The Airbus Operational Environment Intern will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization, specifically within the Operational Environmental department. This team is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, monitoring and improving environmental performance, and achieving environmental objectives aligned with Airbus' industrial strategy and vision.
The main duties of this internship will include:
- Supporting and learning from environmental officers on tasks related to implementing, monitoring, and improving the Airbus Environmental Management system and ensuring compliance with the ISO 14001 standard.
- Ensuring that environmental actions are performed in accordance with agreed procedures and tools.
- Defining local communication tasks and providing visibility on environmental initiatives.
- Measuring and supporting the improvement of environmental performance, as well as supporting awareness campaigns to employees.
- Monitoring and promoting environmental objectives in agreement with site stakeholders.
- Supporting environmental objectives at the plant level and the Environmental Local Roadmap established in the sites.
- Ensuring appropriate actions are in place to continuously work towards environmental compliance and evaluating this compliance with environmental regulations.
Required Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Engineering and/or Environmental Science.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced level of IT skills, particularly in Office.
- Project Management skills are a plus.
- General knowledge and high motivation in Environment, Sustainability, and Aviation.
