Senior Director of Supplier Quality and Compliance

Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Supplier Quality and Compliance will provide leadership and strategic direction for the Supplier Quality Audit and Compliance (SQ A&C) organization at GSK. This role is responsible for ensuring that all material and service suppliers within scope are audited and managed appropriately to meet external regulatory requirements and GSK standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier audit program aligned with GSK Quality Standards and departmental procedures.
- Define and endorse SQ A&C audit standards for types of suppliers within role scope and ensure alignment with GSK Quality Management System (QMS).
- Provide support and oversight to SQ A&C audits, including assessment/audit of suppliers and service providers.
- Closely collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify risks and potential risks, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure decisions regarding marginal suppliers are documented, communicated, and managed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Provide governance and represent SQ A&C at tiered governance meetings, and deputize for VP QA&C as required.
- Communicate learnings from SQAC or supplier incidents across SQ A&C, QAC, and GSK.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or related field.
- Detailed knowledge of worldwide cGMPs, regulatory guidances, and Quality Management Systems for pharmaceuticals, APIs, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and steriles.
