Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the finance department on various financial operations tasks. As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing hotel assets, ensuring a centralized accounting environment, and supporting the preparation of daily revenue journals. You will also be involved in verifying PMS daily city ledger balances, guest ledger balances, and advance deposit ledger balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify daily revenue journals to ensure revenues have been classified to the correct general ledger code.
  • Support the preparation of daily revenue journals and reconcile PMS system net changes for the current month.
  • Update cashier contracts list and prepare reconciliation at month-end for cash accounts.
  • Verify all credit cards billing against the daily business report and prepare credit card and bank conciliation sheets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field. Previous hotel experience in operational departments will be valuable. Fluency in English or Spanish is essential, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for sales & marketing, is also required.

Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will also receive training programs, access to IHG's training tool, meals included on shift, and a cool work environment.
