The Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team at our Badalona location. The Manufacturing Process Lead will serve as the primary link between the Production and Technical teams, ensuring consistent and efficient manufacturing of products that meet quality specifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison between Production and Technical teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Identifying and implementing process and procedural improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Managing the production trial and Management of Change (MOC) systems to ensure seamless implementation of changes
  • Ensuring significant process controls are in place for consistent product manufacture, adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Managing the QA testing laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment that meets industry standards
  • Undertaking site-based projects to improve site performance and consistency, driving business growth and excellence

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Influencing and project management skills to drive process improvements and lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in process improvement, with a track record of implementing successful initiatives
  • Knowledge of ink chemistry and production processes, with a strong understanding of quality control and assurance
  • Qualified Greenbelt or Blackbelt in Lean Six Sigma or similar, with proficiency in computer skills (MS Office) and SAP PTF QM systems
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for own workload and results, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
