Are you passionate about the future of games and reimagining beloved IPs in VR? This is an opportunity to work on exciting game adaptations, contributing to systems, gameplay mechanics, and a variety of development areas. Experience developing VR games is required for this position.
This role offers the chance to bring existing flatscreen Unreal Engine games to VR, create gameplay systems and mechanics using Unreal Engine, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, tackle diverse technical challenges, maintain and improve code quality, performance, and reliability, debug and resolve complex technical issues, contribute creative solutions and ideas to enhance VR gameplay, mentor junior developers, and provide technical leadership across projects.
We are looking for an experienced professional with significant time spent in lead or senior roles in Unreal Engine, great understanding of C++ and Blueprints, professional experience in VR game development, track record of designing and implementing gameplay systems & mechanics, proven ability to make architectural decisions and guide project-wide technical direction, experience in multiple areas of game development with a generalist mindset, strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills, familiarity with performance optimization techniques in Unreal Engine, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
