Job Title: Data Protection Manager

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Manager to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our Data Privacy Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with applicable privacy, data, and information protection laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Westinghouse's global data privacy program, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance goals.
  • Lead internal outreach programs and key initiatives to promote compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with business units and corporate center functions to ensure effective data protection practices.
  • Manage and investigate privacy incidents, carrying out special investigations and inquiries as requested.
  • Develop and enhance global policies and procedures to support Westinghouse's privacy program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of equivalent demonstrable working experience required.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in Privacy, plus experience in technology policy and/or compliance/risk management roles.
  • IAPP practitioner certification (CIPP/E) or similar.
  • An acknowledged expert in the profession; able to demonstrate strategic thinking and influence leadership business decisions.
  • Good demonstrable working knowledge of privacy principles and concepts, with a strong awareness of differing national privacy regulations.
