Job Title: Category Manager

Hydro Extrusions, a world-leading aluminium extrusion business, is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join its Central Procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality, cost, and time in procurement projects to support the company's business targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate projects by involving stakeholders to align scope and objectives
  • Create project plans from initiation to implementation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and scheduling
  • Identify key suppliers and lead complex tenders
  • Negotiate and draft contractual agreements
  • Lead supplier management initiatives and communicate responsibilities to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' procurement experience with a track record in procurement best practices and contract management
  • Fluent in English, with other languages a benefit
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strategic procurement, negotiation, and contract management skills
  • Experience in packaging category and leadership of cross-functional teams
About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of home office and on-site work at a Hydro Extrusions production plant. The successful candidate will report to the Category Director, Logistics & Packaging, and will be responsible for managing the total cost of ownership within the category.
