Mercury Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mep Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management: Manage the Electrical and Mechanical Systems packages, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  2. Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  3. Safety Management: Collaborate with the Director of Field Operations and the Mercury Safety Advisor to ensure site safety protocols are in place and adhered to.
  4. Quality and Environmental Management: Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental culture within your team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Project Schedule Management: Collaborate with the Mercury Project Manager, consulting Engineer, and Client requirements to ensure project schedules are met.
  6. Cost Management: Manage all costs associated with your packages, including labor, materials, and sub-contractor expenses.
  7. Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee sub-contractor activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project schedules.
  8. Communication: Maintain strong relationships with the client team, ensuring open and transparent communication throughout the project.
  9. Documentation: Ensure all project documentation, including safety files, QA files, and material and plant relocations, are completed and filed accurately.
  10. Reporting: Provide regular project updates, including weekly cost reports and progress reports, to the project manager and client team.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications: A trade and/or relevant third-level qualification.
  2. Experience: Minimum 8 years of previous experience in project management.
  3. Skills: PC literate with strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to multitask and work under pressure; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  4. Language: Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
