Reservations Coordinator

Six Senses Ibiza, a leading luxury resort, invites highly motivated individuals to apply for the position of Reservations Trainee.

The Reservations Trainee will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our reservations department. This includes processing new reservations, updating existing ones, handling special requests, and communicating with guests and travel agents. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Process new reservations and updates efficiently
• Handle special requests and hard block rooms as needed
• Contact guests or travel agents to clarify discrepancies in preferences or requests
• Track future room availabilities based on reservations
• Monitor and update internet reservation systems in coordination with hosts
• Determine room rates based on selling tactics
• Manage guest history and profile systems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with hotel systems, including PMS, GDS, and CRS platforms
• Knowledge of hotel/resort policies regarding reservations, discounts, and MICE platforms
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment positively
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish
