Role Summary

As a Senior Technical Sales Leader - Security, you will be a key member of our SMC and Digital Sales organization, responsible for driving technical sales and customer engagement for Microsoft security solutions. You will work closely with our sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with customers to drive technical wins and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions, and technologies, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to understand opportunities, compete scenarios, and engagements to focus on, and drive technical decisions.
  • Remediate blockers, lead technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies, and engage with customers proactively and independently to build credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop strategies and recommendations to improve client security posture, shape technical win plans, and tailor Microsoft messaging to audience for security opportunities.
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, and drive customer intent to buy and facilitate handoff to customer success for post-sales deployment.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in security technology pre-sales or consulting, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud security architectures, solutions, and technologies, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Strong technical sales and customer engagement skills, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in German, with additional languages a plus.
