We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist to join our Data Management and Landscape Transformation team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for delivering international data transformation projects, focusing on System Landscape Transformation and Transition to S/4 HANA.
Key Responsibilities- Identify customer business needs and design appropriate solution proposals from the Data Management & Landscape Transformation portfolio.
- Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT technology and methodology.
- Lead and facilitate customer workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for customer requirements.
- Architect scalable and robust data migration/conversion solutions adhering to SAP best practices and financial industry standards.
- Support and/or lead the delivery of DMLT projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to ensure smooth execution of FI/CO data migration and conversion initiatives and projects.
- Provide deep expertise in SAP FI/CO data migration and conversion tools and technologies, guiding customer teams to make informed decisions.
- Develop and document precise technical specifications, data mapping, and transformation rules, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data migration/conversion processes, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Support internal initiatives to further enhance existing or develop new, finance-related DMLT services and solutions.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in SAP FI/CO data migration technologies and industry trends.
- University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant job experience.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4 HANA FI and/or CO, plus experience in at least one additional of the following modules is a must: FI-AA, CO-PA, CO-PS, EC-PCA, FSCM, FI-CA.
- Strong experience with roll out of Company Codes in the context of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures.
- Experience with System Conversion scenario to S/4HANA (aka "Brownfield"), there in Migrating to S/4 HANA Finance and in SPRO configuration for Finance conversion.
- Strong experience to work with customer's project teams to define the functional and technical specification towards implementation for Finance module for S/4HANA in greenfield scenario, working on topics like implementation of parallel ledger, document split, profit centre accounting, new asset accounting, etc. in S4HANA.
- Minimum 7 years (preferably international) SAP consulting experience; SAP DMLT tools and methodology and data migration/conversion experience is a strong plus.
- Integration and process know-how for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate or Hire-2-Retire are a plus.
- Understanding of the SAP FI/CO data models and technical structures. ABAP Programming skills are a plus.
- Have analytical and logical skills. Critical thinking, attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
- Strong networking skills, a positive customer centric work attitude.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills, strong team spirit.
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
