Job Description

King's College is seeking a dynamic and ambitious professional to fill the position of Academic Coordinator for our Summer Camp. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the academic program, working closely with the Activities Coordinator and reporting to the Director of the summer camp.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize tasks and activities related to the academic program.
  • Develop, support, and manage teams of teachers and monitors.
  • Demonstrate creativity and encourage innovation in the academic program.
  • File, retrieve, and manage information related to the academic program.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, monitors, and parents.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Activities Coordinator and other staff members.
  • Ensure the well-being of children and staff during the summer camp.
  • Manage time, meet deadlines, and commitments.
  • Develop effective personal networks and manage professional development.
Requirements
  • Advanced or Proficiency level in English and Spanish.
  • 3 years of experience in summer camps and teaching.
  • Valid Spanish DNI/NIE or Permission to work within the EU.
  • Criminal Record/Certificate of Sexual Offences.
  • Spanish Social Security Number.
  • Currículum Vitae with picture attached.
  • Scanned Copies of Degrees and Certificates.
  • 2 Contact References.
