Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Novotel Surfers Paradise. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Change bed linen and make beds to ensure a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests.
  • Clean bathrooms and restock amenities to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Attend to guest enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel.
  • Transfer dirty linen and remove rubbish and recycling to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Use chemicals safely and effectively to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per our business demands.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Valid Australian work rights, as we are not offering sponsorship.
