Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Recruiting, training, and managing maintenance staff to foster a collaborative and motivating work environment
  • Conducting performance evaluations and developing training plans for maintenance technicians
  • Managing the maintenance department budget and optimizing resource utilization
  • Evaluating and approving equipment purchases and supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Implementing safety and training programs for maintenance personnel
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing continuous improvement strategies
  • Collaborating with other departments and suppliers to ensure project success
  • Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities

You'll be responsible for preparing regular reports on equipment status, maintenance plans, and key performance indicators. Additionally, you'll negotiate and manage contracts with maintenance service providers and evaluate supplier performance.
