Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and safety objectives are met.
- Recruit, train, and manage maintenance staff to foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop training plans for maintenance technicians.
- Manage the maintenance department budget and optimize resource utilization.
- Evaluate and approve equipment purchases, spare parts, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety and training programs for maintenance personnel.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Plan and coordinate major maintenance projects, including equipment installation and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare regular reports.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with maintenance service providers.
