Job Summary:

As a seasoned Analog Design Engineering Manager at Monolithic Power Systems, you will oversee the activities of a team of Design Engineers in the development of analog and mixed-signal ICs. Your expertise in directing and supervising daily activities and annual goals for project and Design teams will be invaluable in driving the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of integrated circuits, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Manage the entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Directly supervise the activities of the Design Engineering team, providing guidance and direction to subordinates within the bounds of our standard design procedures.
  • Contribute to and advise on analog circuit design, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Participate in hiring and performance evaluations, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Mentor and train analog Design Engineers, helping them grow and develop in their careers.

Requirements:

  • MSEE/PhD or equivalent with 8-12 years of analog circuit design experience.
  • Precision and/or power IC expertise preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industry concepts and practices, with the ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods, modules, and techniques throughout the design process.
  • Prior experience in successfully managing IC Design Engineers/teams is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lead and direct activities of Staff-level Engineers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
