Job Summary:

As a seasoned Analog Design Engineering Manager at Monolithic Power Systems, you will oversee the activities of a team of Design Engineers in the development of cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal ICs. Your expertise in directing and supervising daily activities and annual goals for project and Design teams will be invaluable in driving our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of integrated circuits, leveraging your expertise in analog circuit design.
  • Manage the entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Directly supervise the activities of the Design Engineering team, providing guidance and direction to subordinates within established design procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to receive assignments and determine resource allocation based on established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in hiring and performance evaluations, identifying top talent and providing constructive feedback.
  • Mentor and train analog Design Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 8-12 years of experience in analog circuit design.
  • Precision and/or power IC expertise is highly desirable.
  • Proven understanding of industry concepts and practices, with the ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods, modules, and techniques throughout the design process.
  • Previous experience in successfully managing IC Design Engineers/teams is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lead and direct activities of Staff-level Engineers, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
