Galileo Project DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our software and automation team in the Galileo project, a European satellite constellation for positioning and navigation.

In this role, you will be responsible for the automation of deployment and configuration of various services in the Control Center, including DNS, access systems, antivirus, file transmission, and information centralization.

You will also contribute to the design, development, deployment, and validation of these services, as well as their securing and hardening.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, and Jenkins, and expand your knowledge in Python, security, automation, Linux systems, and virtualization.

Requirements
  • Scripting skills in shell and Python for Linux
  • Version control systems: Git
  • CI/CD: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
  • Knowledge of Linux system configuration, including DNS, logging, repositories, NTP, networking concepts, and certificates
